Netflix has released the trailer for the new teen rom-com, The Perfect Date, and all we can say is that April can’t come fast enough.
The star-studded cast includes Riverdale‘s Camila Mendes, Austin and Ally‘s Laura Morano, and To All The Boy’s I’ve Loved Before‘s Noah Centineo.
High schooler, Brooks (Centineo), is desperate to attend Yale University in the fall. Unfortunately, he needs to find a way to pay for it. Luckily for him, he has the opportunity to be paid to take out a rebellious girl, Celia (Morano), on a date.
After this so called “date,” Brooks has the idea to turn the “fake boyfriend” persona into a business where anyone could hire him to be the “perfect boyfriend.”
If the movie is as good as To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, it will also go down as one of our favorite teenage rom-coms!
So, is Brooks going to make it to Yale? Will he be able to get the cash? Will Brooks and Celia fall for each other? We will find out April 12th when it’s available to stream.
